How we handle personal data, lawfully, transparently, and in line with the GDPR (AVG).

LIVEOP B.V. ("LIVEOP", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal data. This policy explains what data we process, why, and the rights you have. It applies to our website and, where we act as a controller, to our services.
1. Who we are
LIVEOP B.V., Roomweg 77, 7523 BL Enschede, Netherlands. For privacy questions, contact privacy@liveop.net. When we process personal data on behalf of a customer (an emergency-services organization) in our platform, that customer is the controller and we act as processor under a data processing agreement.
2. Data we collect
- Demo and contact requests: when you use the form on our contact page, we receive your name, work email address, organization, discipline and message. To protect the form against abuse, we briefly process your IP address; it is held in memory for at most ten minutes and never stored.
- Direct contact: when you email or call us, the details you share with us.
- Platform data: operational data processed within our services on behalf of customers, governed by the applicable processing agreement.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to your request, plan a demo and follow up on it.
- To provide, secure, and improve our website and services.
- To meet legal, security, and contractual obligations.
4. Legal basis
When you request a demo or contact us, we process your data to take the steps you asked for before a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to and following up on enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Protecting the form against abuse is based on our legitimate interest in keeping our services secure. For our platform, we rely on the performance of a contract and on compliance with legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Your request reaches our team by email, delivered by Twilio SendGrid, our email delivery provider, and received in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. SendGrid is based in the United States; that transfer is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. We share data with other sub-processors only where they support our services, under appropriate agreements, and where required by law. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
6. Data location & retention
This website is hosted in the Netherlands and does not store what you send through the contact form: your request is passed straight on by email. We keep it in our sales mailbox and customer records for as long as needed to handle it and any follow-up. If no further contact or agreement follows, we delete it within 12 months. Platform data is hosted in the region agreed with your organization.
7. Security
We apply security by design: encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication, least-privilege access, and an ISO 27001-certified information security management system. See our Trust & compliance page for details.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@liveop.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. It loads no content from third parties.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by the "last updated" date above.
